Neighborhood Signage Clean Up Efforts

Example of street sign falling down in Outpost Estates.

Based on neighborhood feedback, Outpost Neighborhood Association has been working with the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) on the concerns Outpost Estates residents have brought up about all the street signs in the neighborhood.

  • Some street signs are falling over.

  • Some street signs are old, faded, bent and no longer reflective at night.

  • There are too many new 'no tour bus' signs installed which clutters the neigbhorhood and affects the look and feel.

  • Some of the street signs are awkwardly placed (like the new blue Outpost Estates signs).

  • Some street stigns are installed on the historic street lights in the neighborhood that affected the historic look and feel of the neighborhood.

While it takes a while to get action, LADOT has been good partners and are making some good progress removing sign posts, consolidating signage to one post, and moving signs off of the historic street lights.

If you notice any in your block, please put in a MyLA311 service request ticket and then email traffic@outpostestates.com and Outpost Neighborhood Association can help advocate to get the street signs fixed.
